Pacific Shipbuilding Group won the ADNOC nine newbuilding SPA80A

    Recently, Jiangsu Pacific Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Pacific Shipbuilding Group") won the bid for the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and its subsidiaries ESNAAD nine AHTS (AHTS) of new shipbuilding projects.

    ADNOC early start of the project tender in 2013, after the transfer of its wholly owned subsidiary --ESNAAD specific operation. Related contract signed by the two sides in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, all nine new ships scheduled to end during the second quarter of 2017 and be completed until the delivery.
     
    The ship was successful all-electric propulsion system for a whole new generation AHTS SPA80A, bollard pull of 80 tons by the Pacific Shipbuilding Group Offshore support vessel (Offshore Support Vessel, OSV) design team - Dean Hayes ship design Co., Ltd. (SDA) independent design. SPA80A tailored specifically for ADNOC, in strict accordance with the highest standards for the design of similar ship, reliably and efficiently operate in shallow waters of the Persian Gulf, high-salt, high temperature, high humidity and adverse sea conditions.


     It is worth mentioning that, SPA80A SPA80 upgrade is based on the new generation with three work boats. SPA80 is the first type OSV Pacific Shipbuilding Group fully independent design, was nominated for the sea industry authoritative media "OSJ" magazine (OffshoreSupport Journal) Ship of the Year 2012.
